We know that consistency is key, so we make sure copy aligns with your brand voice, values and target audience, helping you connect with visitors and build a strong brand image. But most importantly, we make sure your copy fulfils its primary purpose — we write copy that sells.

What Our Copywriting Clients Say about Us
“I can't believe that someone has managed to write so much about us! That was my first impression. It sounds great and is in a much more fun style than before, so I’m really happy with the content, thanks.“

How Your Copywriting Campaign Will Start
Copywriting is the process of writing text for adverts and marketing. In digital marketing, copywriting is used for writing the most important pages of a business’s website, notably their homepage and key landing pages (such as a service page or product page).
The intention of good copywriting is that it sells the benefits of a purchase to a customer.
If someone is buying an electric car for the first time and an advert lists the distance the car can travel on a single charge, that person is persuaded by the benefits listed in that advert.
The style of copywriting used for websites differs from the copy used elsewhere — such as a tweet from a business’s account — as it not only has to sell benefits to a customer but also has to be optimised for search engines (we call this, “search engine optimisation”).
Copy optimised for search, or SEO, is more likely to help a page rank at the top of Google for important phrases used by a business’s target market.
Unlike with a press release, a Copywriter must do thorough research to ensure that copy for websites is well optimised for SEO requirements and also speaks in a language the customer can relate to.
Copywriting turns boring business language into seductive words and propositions.
When Apple launched the original iPod, they didn’t lead with a headline that said, “Our Music Player Has 5 Gigabytes Capacity”. It was 2001. Almost nobody could tell you how big a gigabyte was or if it was smaller or larger than a megabyte (it’s larger).
Apple, with Steve Jobs at the helm, knew this and spoke in words anyone could understand.
“Say Hello to iPod. 1,000 Songs in Your Pocket”.
People immediately knew what they were being sold. Not that the iPod was a digital music player, nor that it had a click wheel. Neither did Apple mention how many gigabytes it had.
What people could relate to was “1,000 songs in your pocket”.
“1,000 songs? That’s, like, a hundred albums worth of music!”
In 2001, people could tell you how many songs were on a CD album (the CD was released twenty years earlier) or on a vinyl LP (typically five songs on either side).
Great copy doesn’t list features; it should feature benefits.
The copy on your website should do the same:
“We’ll complete your tax return online and on time, so you don’t have to.”
“We fit windows faster and cheaper than anyone else.”
“Our software improves employee productivity and creates happy employees.”
“We have more vape flavours than anyone else — delivered for free.”
In the same way as this section of this page lists the benefits of copywriting, your pages must explain the benefits of your products or services in the same human way.
We have a team of Copywriting Specialists who just do that. They write copy. And they excel at it.
Our Copywriting Team writes every day, doing their research and learning as much as possible about the company or industry they’re writing for.
We do our best to match new clients with Copywriters who have written about their industry before. When that’s not possible, we pick expert researchers and learners who can write about just about anything.
Your copywriting campaign will also be worked on by a Project Manager who’ll be your representative in the campaign. They’ll be responsible for achieving your goals and being your single contact point because the last thing you need is five different people emailing you every week, flooding your inbox.
Your Project Manager will keep you briefed on what everyone is doing each month. You can talk with them via email or phone, but you set the schedule.
You don’t want to be on the phone or emailing us all the time, so we’ll keep communication to a minimum. This allows us to spend as much time as possible on revenue-increasing work instead.
But, if you have a question, your Project Manager will always be there for you.
If you’ve chosen to have an ongoing monthly campaign with us, you’ll receive a monthly report. This isn’t some boring spreadsheet extracted from some project management software. No, we write our reports each month to tell you:
- What we’ve done
- Why we’ve done it
- How close we are to achieving your goals.
Reports don’t have to be complicated, so ours aren’t.
Monthly campaigns also come with a live dashboard that reports on how well your campaign is going. You can preview one here.
If you have a lot of traffic already, new or improved copywriting can increase leads or sales fast.
If you don’t have a lot of traffic, then you may only see a small increase straight away.
But, as your traffic increases, the quality of that copy will convert people at a high percentage.
For a steady increase in traffic, we suggest using search engine optimisation.
For a rapid increase in traffic, we suggest using pay-per-click advertising.
If you’re unhappy, we’re not happy.
We’re not in the business of making people unhappy, so if you ever are, just tell us.
Your Project Manager will get in touch to find out more about the causes of any concern you may have so we can make any improvements that may be necessary.
If the improvements we make still don’t put a smile on your face — or money in your pocket — then we completely understand if you want to pause your campaign to have a think.
We don’t tie people to multi-year contracts that are impossible to escape. We feel the results we deliver should be so good that businesses want to work with us for longer, and hundreds do.
Instead, we work with only rolling short-term contracts. So, if you want to pause your campaign, we only need a month’s notice in advance to do so.
We need a month so we can finish the work we’re doing and tidy-up any future work we had planned. After the month, that’s it. The campaign is paused.
Just one month’s notice. That’s all we need. But we don’t think you’ll ever need it.
