Set and drive the strategic direction for client accounts, ensuring long-term performance, growth, and alignment with client goals.
As an Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for your clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their campaigns deliver measurable results. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and key stakeholders to drive account growth, uncover new opportunities, and contribute to the agency’s overall success.
This role calls for a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a passion for delivering results.
This is a results-based role and you will be expected to show progress towards the department’s targets.
Client Retention: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, with end-to-end ownership of client satisfaction and overall account performance.
Upselling: Identify and propose opportunities to grow client accounts through upselling and cross-sell of relevant services.
Set and drive the strategic direction for client accounts, ensuring long-term performance, growth, and alignment with client goals.
Translate client objectives into actionable digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable results across campaigns and channels.
Lead client calls, consultations, and presentations, providing clear insights, strategic recommendations, and data-driven guidance.
Oversee campaign timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and meet client expectations.
Work closely with content, SEO, PPC, and development teams to ensure campaigns are aligned, executed smoothly, and deliver results that meet client objectives.
Mentor and support junior team members through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capabilities.
Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategies and improve client results.
Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reporting to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting performance, trends, and opportunities.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Account Manager or equivalent client-facing role, ideally within a digital marketing or creative agency environment.
Professional-level English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Although the majority of our clients are on UK timezones, we require Account Managers to be available in the evening for US clients. We also require Account Managers to attend in-person events and client meetings.
Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and performance insights to clients in a simple, accessible way.
Strong analytical capabilities, including confidence interpreting data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
Strong understanding of digital marketing disciplines, including PPC, SEO, Content, and Web Development.
A positive, proactive, and highly collaborative mindset, with a genuine enthusiasm for teamwork.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a genuine enjoyment of building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Outstanding organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently handle challenging or emotionally charged conversations with clients and internal teams.
