How Our Website Development Process Works

We’ll be in touch to carry out a review of your competitors and your market and suggest a plan of action for the site, including any elements that we’d recommend from our research. This allows us to give you a ballpark price for the work.
The next stage is for us to put together a more detailed website specification. This is where we decide together exactly how many pages, how much copy and what functionality is required. We’ll draft the specification and send it over to you so that you can review, before arranging a call to talk through it in detail. At this stage, we’ll give a final “all in” price for the work. Once you have approved the specification and paid the deposit, we begin the design work.
Step 1: We’ll work with you to build an initial design
After creating a conversion-optimised wireframe, we’ll begin by designing your new homepage. By focusing on just one page to begin with, we can make sure that we have an overall look and feel that you love before designing the rest of the website’s pages. This saves considerable time and simplifies the process for you, as you only have to approve one page initially.
Step 2: We’ll design the site in it’s entirety
Once you’ve approved the homepage, we’ll get to work designing the subpages. By designing everything before we code anything, changes are simple and quick to make. Think of it like the difference between adding an extra bathroom to a house design rather than a house that’s already been built.
You’ll be able to review the design in our software that allows you to click and give feedback directly on the design itself. Want to move “that bit” over there, but don’t know what it’s called? Step 3: The Developer Ninjas get to work
Once we’re agreed on the final website design, we’ll get our developers, copywriters and SEO Ninjas to build, write and optimise your website, turning it into a digital marketing machine.
