SEO
Total dominance in a highly competitive industry
This UK eCommerce site has enjoyed industry-dominating rankings thanks to an Exposure Ninja SEO campaign since summer 2015.

1. Background
This eCommerce business came to Exposure Ninja for help with SEO looking to grow their ranking, traffic and sales. Like some other sites that we work with, they are restricted to SEO as their ONLY marketing channel – as paid ads are not allowed in THEIR industry.
2. Objective
Our first goal was to increase the site’s ranking. We knew that a large part of this was going to be building links to the site, as the site was already well-optimised.
3. Strategy
Whilst the website was well optimised, we still made recommendations in a number of areas – particularly increasing the amount of content on key pages targeting manufacturer brand names.
Our SEO team then worked with our content marketing team, sending out products to key influencers to review. We spotted opportunities to piggyback on trending topics in the media to get featured talking about legislation, and created infographics which got shared and brought in more links.

4. Results
Since the campaign started in August 2015, the site’s ranking has been growing steadily. It now outranks most of the brands it sells, and its rankings are totally undisputed in the UK.
Since starting on the campaign, our client’s annual revenue has grown from around £900K to over £3.7M, driven purely by organic SEO.
